    National Building Distribution company looking for its next Staff Accountant in Concord, NH  

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Responsibility for accurate and timely reporting for 10-12 Rugby locations:
      • Prepare financial statements and additional reporting
      • Journal entries and accruals
      • Review AP expense invoices for accuracy
      • Lease Payments
      • State and City registrations
      • Account Reconciliations for branch and assigned accounts
      • Prepare annual budgets by projecting expenses with assistance of management
    • Analyze monthly financial and statistical data and explain budget vs monthly variances
    • Fixed Asset Management for all Rugby locations
    • Vendor rebate reporting and reconciliation
    • Customer rebate reporting and reconciliation
    • Assist w/ internal, bank and year end audits
    • Establish and maintain excellent rapport with internal and external customers
    • Cross Training in other areas

     

     Qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree in Accounting required
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, distribution a plus
    • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and financial software as needed
    • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, analytical and demonstrations teamwork skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines a must
